Cycle Mode International is back! Don’t miss Japan’s premier event for those interested in cycling – for fitness, recreation, or competition.
Each year, Cycle Mode offers one of the biggest sports trade shows in Japan. During its three-day run at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, the exhibition is expected to draw more than 25,000 visitors. Though most items will not be for sale, visitors can browse nearly 1,000 bicycles and cycling-related goods from almost 400 name brands.
Whether you’re new to the cycling world or are a competitive cyclist seeking QOM/KOMs, Cycle Mode is an amazing opportunity to learn about and experience cycling!

From road bikes to cross bikes, mountain bikes and BMX bikes, visitors will get a firsthand look at the lightest gear and the fastest bicycles from both well-known brands and independent labels. A variety of e-bikes and handmade bicycles will also be unveiled on site.
Notable exhibitors include Canyon, Chapter 2, Dimond, LaPierre, Look, Pinarello, and more.
Cycle Mode will also offer demonstrations and opportunities to experience a host of lifestyle items related to cycling and cyclists. Products include helmets, apparel, lights, and training gear.

From Aomori to Okinawa, Shimanami to Minami-Boso, tourism boards from all over Japan will be competing for your attention with displays designed to pique your curiosity. This year, we’re also eager to check out the New Zealand booth!
Over the course of three days, Cycle Mode will host a number of events including a nighttime cyclo-cross race, a professional crit, and classes in Japanese on cycling techniques and bicycle maintenance.


On Saturday, the 3rd JBCF Makuhari Shintoshin Criterium will take place on the streets by the north side of Makuhari Messe.
This is a can’t miss opportunity to watch more than 50 elite road cyclists race in the heart of Chiba!
Visitors may test ride a wide range of mountain bikes, cyclo-cross bikes, and other off-road bikes on a special 1.4KM indoor test course designed around and through Makuhari Messe.
It’s a rare opportunity to take a whirl on bikes retailing for several thousand dollars!
