about the ride
Ride along Chiba’s beautiful coast this Spring! The course also takes you along the Boso Flower Line, a long stretch of floral road with spring flowers in full bloom. Other notable sights include Tateyama City, Minami Boso City, and Kamogawa. Challenge yourself this spring with a long 130km or 100km. We also have a fun and easy 50km ride for beginners! All of the courses are come with various regional specialties that you won’t want to miss. Register for your Boso Peninsula adventure today!

・All fees above include service charge
・If total cost is ¥10,000 or less, you will incur a flat fee service charge of ¥1,000.
・If total cost is more than ¥10,001, you will incur a service charge amounting to 10% of total cost.
・Why does Samurai Sports implement a service charge? They help us cover the cost of operating the registration platform, translation of athlete guides/event information, labor hours required to answer your event inquiries, etc. Depending on the event, the surcharges help to cover the cost of our physical presence at the event.

・All participants must be respectful of the natural course environment and demonstrate good cycling manners.
・Be mindful of other cyclists and vehicles on the road. You should understand laws in Japan pertaining to cycling on public roads and cycling insurance.
・Be a responsible athlete. Please make sure you have the physical ability to complete the course.

By Train
From Tokyo Station, take the JR Sobu Line or JR Keiyo Line to the JR Uchibo Line and exit Tateyama Station (about 2 hours and 40 min). On weekends and holidays, take the JR Uchibo Line Express Train (Sazanami) and exit Tateyama Station (about 2 hours and 10 min).
Then, take the bus at the East #3 bus stop and get off at Tateyama-mae. Walk about 2 minutes from the bus stop to Hotel Familio. Or, ride your bike from Tateyama to Hotel Familio.
By Highway Bus
Highway Bus “Boso Nanohana Goh” (JR Bus Kanto & Nitto Kotsu)
From Tokyo Station (Yaesu North exit) to Tateyama Station (about 2 hours via the Aqualine).
* there is a chance the bus will take you direct to Familio Tateyama Bus Stop (about 2 hours and 15 min) – please ask the driver.

From Shinjuku Bus Terminal to Tateyama Station (about 2 hours 20 minutes via the Aqualine).

From Tateyama Station, take the bus at the East #3 Bus Terminal to Familio Tateyama Bus Stop (about 15 min). Then, walk to Hotel Familio Tateyama (about 2 min). Or, ride your bike from Tateyama to Hotel Familio.

Aqualine Highway Bus (Keikyu)
From Yokohama Station East Exit to Tateyama Station (about 2 hours and 5 min).
Then, take the bus at the East #3 bus stop and get off at Tateyama-mae. Walk about 2 minutes from the bus stop to Hotel Familio. Or, ride your bike from Tateyama to Hotel Familio.

・Ride on the LEFT single file (not two or more abreast).
・Come to a complete stop at red lights.
・Cell phone usage is prohibited while on the road.
・You MUST follow all traffic rules.
Rider Courtesy
・Keep a respectable distance from other cyclists.
・When passing a cyclist, make sure to check your rear, verbally indicate your intention to pass, and receive acknowledgment from the cyclist(s) you intend to pass.
・When a cyclist passes you, take care to allow him or her to tuck into the space in front of you.
・Come to a complete stop when taking videos and pictures.
・It is strictly prohibited to take pictures or videos while riding, unless it is mounted on the bicycle or attached to your helmet.
・Earphones, headphones, and anything in the ears that may prevent you from adequately hearing your surroundings are prohibited.
