About the Race
Race among your own! Set in the woods of western Tokyo, the 3rd Tokyo Women’s Trail Race exhibits a level of camaraderie, support, encouragement, and even friendship among women runners unlike any other. If you’re looking for a great race experience full of female power, beautiful outdoor scenery, and plenty of motivation, head to Ome this October!
At just under 15KM and a little more than 550m of elevation gained, the Tokyo Women’s Trail Race is just enough challenge for rookies and veterans alike.
・Take a break from the city life and hop on the train to Ome – just 60 to 90 minutes from the heart of Tokyo on the Chuo Line!
・Explore Ome after the race and learn about the history of the mountains and visit the 300+ year old home, where the descendants of the Takeda family settled after their defeat by Oda Nobunaga in 1592. Walk through Ome Juku and slip into a Tokyo of times past with retro posters, vintage billboards, and historic buildings from the Showa era (primarily, the 1950s and 60s).

+559m (1,834 feet)
Please note that the course map and advertised distance may not align perfectly. According to the race organizers, this is due to the fact that the area does not always ping well using GPS or GLONASS. Additionally, the course map calculates distance between several geographical coordinates that do not account for irregularities in the surface of the route nor changes in elevation relative to the idealized surface.
Should you find a discrepancy between the advertised distance and the map, you may reasonably expect to run a maximum of the distance advertised but may also find that the distance actually covered more closely resembles that of the course map provided.
